Thorgrim, son of Hofrax Tarnson, is the recent inheritor of the independent Estate of Tarnholme. Technically, this makes him a Lord and grants him a seat on the Estates Assembly but he has never attended (he is considering sending his Aunt Aghilde to keep her out of his hair). A boisterous fellow, he is loyal and loving but not a shrewd businessman (that would be his wife, Ebba). He is a good leader of men and while not a warrior like his cousin Halvard Kalexson, is fearless.
Thorgrim is somewhat in awe of his Uncle Zadekiel, seeing him as a legendary figure. He was present when his dying father Hofrax passed down the mysterious prophecy to Zadekiel that his father Tarn told him on his death bed. He is convinced in his heart of hearts that someday Zadekiel will replace Gylharen on Wendar’s throne.
